Kybella® is deoxycholic acid, a prescription-strength injection used to treat the double chin (submental fat) in adults. Deoxycholic acid is a salt that is made in the liver that breaks down fat from the diet. Kybella® is the first and only FDA approved injectable treatment for the double chin.

In addition to the double chin, Kybella can be used to treat an array of areas that hold stubborn fat to help promote overall weight loss.

HOW DOES KYBELLA® WORK?

Is Emsculpt NEO or Kybella right for me??

How much weight will I lose?

In Emsculpt NEO clinical trials, patients saw an average of 19% fat reduction/weight loss in the treated areas. On top of that, patients saw an average of 9% increase in muscle — giving them a nice, toned look.

In Kybella clinical trials, patients saw 25% decrease of the fat cells in the submental region. However, spending on how much subcutaneous fat you have in the treated area, you may find that you lose 20 or 30% of your localized fat cells!

How do these treatments work?

With both Emsculpt NEO and Kybella, you can expect to receive a series of up to 6 treatments to achieve the weight loss results your desire. Are there side effects?
For Emsculpt NEO, pther than temporary muscle soreness, there are no known side effects for this weight loss treatment. Similar non-invasive body treatments can result in redness, swelling, bruising, and numbness.
 
For Kybella, most patients will experience at least some degree of swelling post-treatment. However, this swelling will decrease over a few days or weeks time. Similar to other injectable treatments, brushing and redness are also possible.
